"New Forest Ridden Class"

The change in scheduling of this show from early January to mid March due to the EI episode meant that we looked forward to more sensible temperatures in which to show our ponies.

Where on earth did the 41deg come from!!!!

That was the temperature on the Friday when the New Forest classes were held.
Even though they couldn’t control the weather the RAS had done a great job with the grounds.

The grass was actually green (amazing in this drought) and the white judges and stewards pavilions and double, blue pennant flags flying could have been the set for a medieval jousting competition!
New Forest ponies held their numbers reasonably well with Chris & Ruth Feltoe’s stallion Liburnam Park Piccadilly looking a treat and claiming the Champion New Forest title for Habafield Stud.
